Downtown Restaurants

Saveur offers a simply stated Chefs Tasting Menu with optional wine pairing options which are outstanding and beautifully executed. Vegetarian options and a small ala carte menu is available. Impeccable and friendly service in a comfortable yet sophisticated atmosphere. Reservations highly recommended in advance.

Vista 18 at the Chateau Victoria Hotel If you are looking for a romantic setting this is your spot. The panoramic views from Vista 18 are the best in the city and along with the West Coast inspired menu makes for a memorable dining experience. Excellent choice for Cocktails and Live Jazz too.

10 Acres Bistro Delicious farm to table bistro menu and has one of my favourite outdoor patio’s that’s open year round.

Brasserie LEcole – Victoria’s best Classic French Bistro in a cozy space located at the top of China Town. No reservations and is open at 5:30.

Il Terrazzo is Victoria’s long standing favourite by locals and tourists alike featuring Northern Italian cuisine. The warm and cozy decor and especially the courtyard with it’s several fireplaces through out offers a very comfortable dining experience. Reservations are highly recommended.

Ollo Restaurant Classic fusion dishes, farm to table concept and serviced with creative thought. If you are a foodie you will love Ollo.

Nautical Nellies is a great place for Steak and Seafood with a menu of traditional offerings, unique fusion dishes and delicious raw oysters you just can’t can’t go wrong here.

Lure at the Delta Hotel offers a Uniquely special view of Victoria’s Harbour and has a comfortable decor.  The menu is uncomplicated yet offers delicious options of  tasty local Seafood and other “Bistro” options. During the summer the outdoor patio is open and makes a perfect spot for cocktails and small plate dining. This is a great option if you are after fantastic views and a relaxing meal.

Fiamos Italian kitchen, Pizza and Wine Bar. I just enjoy this place for it’s unpretentious and eclectic feel and the food is always yummy. Presecco on tap!
