Family Fun Tour – Excellent for Young Kids ITINERARY

This is a fun full-day tour for families with younger kids and just kids at heart! You’ll love the easy-paced day and fun places to explore and capture memories for your photo album. Have you ever fed a real peacock? Or seen a sleeping giant? Ever visited a real castle or seen a real house floating on the Ocean?  There are lots of places for the little ones to burn off their energy, laugh, and giggle.

This tour will start at the Inner Harbour with a brief overview of the city and it’s most legendary building surrounding the Harbour.
Stop 1: Voyage on a Harbour Ferry to Fisherman’s Wharf for a stroll around the gem-colored float homes and perhaps indulge in the best fish and chips you’ve ever had.
Stop 2: Thunderbird Park to see a fantastic cluster of Totem poles representing many West Coast First Nations people. What stories do they tell?
Stop 3: Beacon Hill Park to climb a tree, visit the sleeping giant, play with goats and feed roaming peacocks + see the tallest Totem pole in the world.
Stop 4: A spectacular view of the city and across the Ocean where you can see the Olympic Mountains in the United States.
Stop 5: Government House grounds where the Lt. Governor of Bc lives and works. If exploration of the beautiful grounds is of interest we can wander around here. Often you will encounter the resident deer munching away at the flora and fauna. And just outside the grounds, we’ll stop to see a fairy tree.
Stop 6: The Craigdarroch Castle where the Dunsmuir family, once the richest family in Canada, lived and played out a public scandal that rocked the nation.
Stop 7: Beach time! Play in the park (bathroom facilities available) Picnic lunch can be arranged or lunch stop at the Oak Bay Marina surrounded by all kinds of boats and ocean activity.
